I know what you're going through.... You got involved with Solar sales because you believe that Solar energy is a product that just makes sense. And it does, on many levels. For the homeowner or commercial business owner, solar can be a way to save a ton of money and help the environment, that's all good. We know there's a need out there, a huge and growing need.

 

The sales person, solar company or sales and marketing organization that sells solar SHOULD be crushing it, a big ticket item and a ton of room for PROFIT. All good? Not so fast.

Here's the problem..... How do you find the interested homeowner or business owner who's willing to invest in solar consistently and for the lowest cost? How do you find the person who's interested in the incentives and the long term value that solar can provide?  How do you find the ones who will even hear you?

Many of you buy tired lists of names from solar lead providers. You try a bunch of them on for size hoping you're going to find one better than the next. They're all the same at the end of the day.  

You spend a ton of money on those lists, addresses, emails and phone numbers only to have a tiny percentage of those turn into appointments, much less sales. Spending long hours WALKING door to door, hustling, tired of pitching, and it's tough to get motivated to do that day in and day out. You deal with bad weather, hot sweaty days and for what? To POSSIBLY get some appointments? You don't know from one day to the next if you'll be happy at the end of the day for your hard work and effort.  

Some of you rely on call centers to robo dial these lists and pass those off as live transfers......the list of inefficient ways you do business goes on and on. You constantly play the numbers game and ride a roller coaster of highs (when you sell a deal and make good profit) and lows (when things are tight and you're left hoping for sales and waiting around to be funded on your last sold deal... and that day never comes fast enough).

Stressful. Inefficient. Tiring. Burnt out. Frustrated. All of these things, you're familiar with if you're in Solar sales, doing it wrong and constantly grinding... HARD.
